Adding your animal actor is as simple, this guide will walk you through the process.

Using the "user login" feature at the bottom of most pages, register for an account, include your contact information so we will be able to reach you if we are contacted regarding work. All information will be kept in confidence. Once you submit your registration, check your email (including junk boxes) for your activation letter. Follow the link in the email to activate your account. Once your account is activated, you will be able to log in to the site.

Once you are logged in, find the user control panel and select "Add new animal" in the menu. Clicking this link will open a new window titled "K2 Add Item". Fill in your animals name in the title and select the category that your animal needs to be listed under with the drop down menu titled "Category". At this time, if you wish, you can include a 1 or 2 paragraph bio for your animal.

Next, click on the tab labeled image, this is where you upload the main page graphic for you animals profile. Select the "Choose File" button and browse to the image that you would like to feature on your animals profile. To match with the rest of the site, your main image needs to conform with certain guideline to be accepted. The best way of conforming to site guidelines would be using our template file. You just need to copy your image into this template file, format as your wish, then save to .png or jpg format. If you do not have software capable of this, you can use Gimp which is a powerful and free, open source image editor available for OSX and Windows.

Optional - Next, click on the tab labeled gallery, this is where you are able to upload additional images of your animal. You are able to upload horizontally or vertically aligned images here, we prefer that images are a maximum of 800px wide and 600px tall. In order to upload images with this tool, images need to be in .png, jpg or .gif format and compressed into a single .zip formatted archive. Each profile is limited to 8MB total of uploaded files.

Optional - The video tab is where you are able to include a video of your animal actor. To include video in your profile, upload the video to a site such as youtube and copy the embed code from that site and paste into the video source embed tab. You also have the option of pasting the full url or loading a remote video via the video provider tab. To use the video provider tab, select the provider that you uploaded the file to and paste the video ID provided by the hosting service you selected.

You now have reached the "Extra Fields" tab, this is where you enter all of your animals vital information. For dogs, this includes breeds, size, special skills and talents. To select multiple breeds use the appropriate keys to use the multiple select tools, make sure to remember to select the "mix".
- For windows: Hold down the control (ctrl) button to select multiple options
- For Mac: Hold down the command button to select multiple options
Finally, You can hit "save" and your animals profile will be sent to our staff for approval. You are able to submit as many animals as you wish and you are able to edit the profiles in the future with these same tools.
